Alpine Fractions’ Cedar Mountain cabins are an affordable, convenient way to own a second home. We allow you to purchase fractional ownership (one-quarter share) of a mountain vacation cabin in a picturesque setting surrounded by aspen, fir and pine forests. Our property management company handles all of the maintenance, prepares an annual budget of required expenditures, and provides reporting and bookkeeping services for each owner. Owners develop an operating agreement for their home and vote on any changes they would like to make, whether to the home or the document.

Alpine Fractions provides its Cedar Mountain cabin owners with a rotating calendar of when they can use their home for the greatest level of equality among owners. The schedule of use weeks designates one week per month for each owners to use, beginning on Wednesday and ending the next Wednesday. Owners can also swap dates and combine weeks, at the discretion of the other owners. The calendar shows use weeks for years in advance, making it easy to pre-schedule a change. If there are weeks that owners do not plan to use their vacation home, they can rent it out, either by themselves or through the property management company, making it possible to recoup some operating expenses. Owners can also sell their share in the home at any time.

The location of our Cedar Mountain cabins is approximately 30 miles east of Cedar City, Utah. Our vacation homes are located in picturesque settings surrounded by meadows, lava flows and aspen, fir and pine forests. Your cabin will be an ideal recreation headquarters for hiking, ATV riding and fishing in nearby Aspen Mirror Lake, Duck Creek Pond and Navajo Lake. Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park are within an hour and a half drive. Cedar Breaks National Monument, a stunning display of colorful rock spires and pinnacles, is only 20 minutes away. When you visit your cabin in the winter, you will be able to enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing at nearby Brian Head Resort.
